The Bluesmobile was a 1974 Dodge Monnaco used in the film The Blues Brothers, the car is said to have 'special powers' that it gets from being charged at a substation (only seen on the DVD version of the film) which, paired with Elwood's skill as a driver, enable it to perform amazing stunts, although. When describing the car to his brother Elwwood says "It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic coverters so it'll run good on regular gas."
The car is used in many chase sequences and the car takes the Blues Brothers to their destination, the Daley Centre, but as soon as the Blues Brothers are finished with the car it falls to pieces.
