Lady St Edmund's Car
Lady St Edmund's Estate Car was featured in the Disney movie Candleshoe. It was a 1924 Rolls-Royce 20 h.p. Cabriolet Cockshoot. Lady St Edmund did not own the car in the movie as her declining fortune forced her to morgage the car to the bank. In the movie, the car is most remembered for the scene in which the residents of Candleshoe have to chase down a steam train in order to find an important, final clue to the location of the treasure of the notorious pirate Sir. Joshua St. Edmund, which was on a painting on the train. Pryory, the butler parks the car across the train tracks in order to stop the train.
